14th Asia-Pacific Eco-Business Forum in Kawasaki was organized in Kawasaki City in collaboration with UN Environment International Environmental Technology Centre on 1 February 2018. CCET's experience through IETC's waste management strategy development project in Cambodia and Myanmar was presented.
In Session 2 (Environmental Technology to Achieve SDGs), Dr. Thit Sinn, a Committee Member, Cleansing Department, Mandalay City Development Committee (MCDC) shared the experience of CCET's partner city, Mandalay, in developing its waste management strategy and action plan, as well as existing and prospective waste management technologies to address Mandalay's waste challenges.
In Session 3 (Environmental Education and Learning to Achieve SDGs), our researcher Ran Yagasa presented on CCET's experience of waste management strategy development in Phnom Penh City, Cambodia, with a particular focus on public participation and education in waste sector.
