On 5 December 2025, CCET member, Miwa Tatsuno presented at the Education Section of the German Association for Social Science Research on Japan (VSJF) Annual Conference. Her presentation, titled “From Policy to Practice: Challenges in Implementing Environmental Education in Japan,” examined the gap between Japan’s strong policy framework for Environmental Education (EE) and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and its uneven implementation at the local level.
